Notice on Winter Vacation 2021

Dear International Students:

The winter vacation runs from January 20 to February 28, 2021. Considering that the epidemic of COVID-19 has not yet ended, please follow scientific approaches and continue to do a good job of self-protection. Besides studying, International School hopes that your physical and mental health is receiving the same attention as well.

 

During the winter vacation, JCI adopts closed management and provides basic living security for students staying on campus. The services are as follows:

 

1. Dining: No.1 Canteen is open

2. Study: The study room on the first floor of the library is open during the day

3. Medical treatment: the school hospital arranges doctors on duty

4. Shopping: The supermarket is open

5. Bank: ATM of ICBC is working 

 

Part1

For students in China

 

please avoid mobility and travelling between cities and participating in group activities. Do not leave school, Jingdezhen or China if it is unnecessary.

 

1. Strict management on entering and leaving campus

All international students are required to live in No.22 dormitory building. Students staying on campus must strictly abide by the school entry and exit management regulations during the winter vacation. When entering or leaving campus, please show your Student ID and the Green Campus Card, and consciously cooperate with the doormen of the campus on temperature measurement. Try not to leave the campus as much as possible. If you need to ask for leave under special circumstances, you must strictly follow the leave procedures, fill in the "The Registration Form for Temporary Leave of International Students on Winter Vacation" in advance (see attachment 1) and report to the teacher on duty in the International School (see attachment 2) for approval before going out.

 

2. Strictly abide by the requirements of endemic prevention and submit daily health report

All students staying on campus must submit health report before 12am every day. The health report includes the body temperature and health condition.

 

3. Strict dormitory management

Students entering and exiting the dormitory must get temperature checked, and the abnormal shall be disposed by emergency procedures.  Please abide by the dormitory management regulations. Illegal electrical appliances and private cables for charging are strictly forbidden. Students are not allowed to live off campus or let any other people live in . The dormitory should be ventilated and cleaned frequently to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

 

4. Do not get involved in illegal activities

Please note that students are forbidden to be involved in any use or trade of drugs, drunk-driving and other actions which violate the regulations of JCI and laws of China.   

 

5. Do not attend any group activities

For your safety and minimize the risk of infection, avoid gathering. Students staying on campus are advised not to attend any group activities, including parties or religious activities. Also, do not organize any parties or religious activities etc.

 

6. Pay attention to your safety

Pay attention to your personal and property safety, do not go out with strangers, do not participate in field excursions and prevent Internet fraud. Watch out for traffic when you go out and do not take unqualified vehicles. If you encounter an emergency during the winter vacation, you should stabilize your emotions and respond calmly. And contact the teacher on duty of JCIIS in time.

 

Part2

For students outside China

 

1. Please do not return to the university or China before receiving formal notice from the JCI. 

Please take the initiative to maintain effective communication and contact with your college and supervisor. Making arrangements for online-learning and scientific research as required, and try to avoid travelling.

 

2. Please take pandemic precautions.

Follow your local guidelines, compliance with epidemic prevention measures and minimize the risk of infection.

国际学院寒假放假通知

 

亲爱的留学生们：

2021年寒假放假时间为1月20日—2月28日。新冠病毒肺炎疫情尚未结束，请大家继续做好防护，科学防疫！希望同学们在学习之余注意自己的身心健康。

 

寒假期间校园采取封闭管理，学校为留校学生提供基本生活保障，服务内容如下:

1.餐饮：一食堂开放

2.学习：图书馆1楼自习室白天开放

3.医疗：校医院安排医生值班

4.购物：超市营业

5.银行：工商银行ATM机开放

 

在中国境内的同学：请尽量避免城市间流动和聚集，非必要不出学校，不离开景德镇，不离开中国。

 

1.严格校园进出管理

全体留学生要求在22栋学生宿舍住宿。留校学生要严格遵守寒假期间学校进出管理规定，进出校园时严格进行身份核验、体温检测、查验健康码。尽量不要离开校园，特殊情况需请假外出的，需严格履行请假手续，提前填写《留学生假期去向登记表》（见附件一）向学院值班（值班表见附件二）教师申请报备申请并获得批准后方可外出。

 

2.严格遵守学校防疫管理规定，每天提交健康报告

所有留校学生需每天提交健康报告，在每天12点前报告体温和身体情况。

 

3.严格宿舍管理

学生进出宿舍要进行体温测量，异常者按应急流程处置。严格遵守学生宿舍管理规定，严禁使用违规电器和私拉电线充电。严禁校外住宿，严禁留宿任何外人。宿舍要勤通风，勤打扫，保持干净卫生环境。

 

4.不参与非法活动

严禁吸毒贩毒涉毒、酒后驾车和其他违反校规校纪和中国法律法规的行为。

 

5.不参加集体活动

为了你的安全和将风险降到最低，不聚集在人群中。建议所有留校学生不参加团体活动，所有学生不组织聚会。不在宿舍或其他任何地方组织宗教活动。

 

6.注意安全

注意个人人身财产安全，不与陌生人外出、不参加野外远足。防范网络诈骗。出行注意交通安全，不乘坐无资质交通工具。在假期遭遇突发事件，应稳定情绪，冷静应对，并及时联系国际学院值班老师。

 

在中国境外的同学：

 

1.未接到学校正式通知之前不入境、不返校

积极主动与专业学院及导师保持有效沟通和联系。根据要求做好线上课程学习及科研安排，尽量避免国际流动。

 

2.做好防疫

遵循当地的指导方针，遵守防疫措施，把感染的风险降到最低。
