Introduction of Artist

Séverine Hubard是一位职业的法国艺术家，1977年出生于里尔。1999年本科毕业于法国敦刻尔克美术学院，2001年硕士毕业于法国南特国立高等艺术学院。她曾多次在法国、欧洲魁北克、非洲和亚洲做艺术驻场,目前任教于法国利摩日国立高等艺术学院。在布宜诺斯艾利斯（AR）工作6年后，她回到法国，负责利摩日国立高等艺术学院和景德镇陶瓷大学之间的硕士陶艺交换项目。

Séverine Hubard is a French artist without fixed studio, born in 1977 in Lille. She has participated in many residencies in France in the city and in the countryside, in Europe in Quebec, in Africa and in Asia. She also teach in the School of Fine Art. After 6 years based in Buenos Aires (AR) she is back in France and actually responsible of the post graduate ceramic exchanges between ENSA Limoges (FR) and JCI Jingdezhen (CH).

Séverine Hubard利用DIY的原则亲自动手来制作三维结构（也就是说，她使用材料来制作她需要的东西，而不是材料本身的实际用途）。她的作品以不同的媒介呈现雕塑，现场装置，电影，绘画。无论是大型构造还是小型铸件，每次的作品都用一种语言、一种技术、一种破坏词汇和语法系统以及规模和空间概念的特定方法。同时,考虑到生活似乎该有的条理性，Séverine Hubard将她从中汲取的东西转移了方向，传达给观众一个欢快而颠覆性的感受。

Séverine Hubard makes three-dimensional constructions using the rules of do-it-yourself (in the sense that she uses materials to make them what she needs and not for what they are intended for). His work appear in different medium ; Sculpture, site specific installation, film, drawing. Whether large constructions or small casts, each time it implements a language, a technique, a specific method that systematically disrupts vocabulary and syntax, as well as the notions of scale and space. Still taking into account the life as it seems organized, Séverine Hubard diverts what she extracts from it, to confuse and disturb the viewer by offering him a cheerful and subversive look.
